Lovely climbing rose on southfacing wall in Somerset, at least 40 years old, repeat flower, lovely scent, 20 feet tall, pale pink blooms

Hi Polly, Christian Campos @MrChristianCam on Twitter thinks it is pink iceberg rose, named after Rose from the Titanic : )

Pink Iceberg is only 3ft 6in high and has a slight fragrance,so I'd be surprised if it was that.
More likely to be Climbing New Dawn. Grows to 10 feet is highly scented and repeat flowering. UK Introduction 1930.

Thanks for 'New Dawn' suggestion, however it is not that either . I have been demolished by many 'New Dawns' over the years, this climber has few thorns - a gentler creature altogether! I shall go to my neighbours and take some more pics.
